Stone cast from concrete using molds made from natural stone.
Stone Veneer
Stone applied to the face of a wall or structure.
Limestone
Typical of the limestone from the hills of Kentucky, this stone has a marble texture face and varies in height from 2 to 7 inches and in length from 6 to 20 inches. See “Rubble”.
Cobblestone
A very popular style of stone with rectangular pieces ranging in height from 2 to 10 inches and in length from 6 to 22 inches. See “Rubble”.
Rubble
Stone laid in an ancient Celtic style of building that uses irregular shapes of stone set on mortar beds. Our Limestone and Cobblestone styles are generally installed in this fashion, with mortar joints that are typically about ˝ inch wide.
Dry Stack
A style of stone applied with no mortar joints. In our product, dry stack stone sizes vary in height from 1-˝ to 5 inches and in width from 6 to 23 inches.
Ledge Stone
A stone style comprised of longer, narrower pieces of stone, often laid without visible mortar joints. Our dry-stack stone is an example of a ledge stone style.
Manufactured Stone
Stone manufactured from lightweight aggregates, Portland cement and iron oxide color pigments. Each stone is cast in a mold taken from a piece of natural stone. Also
called fake stone.
Mortarless Stone
Stone styles that appear to be stacked without visible mortar joints.
River Rock
Stones that have been weathered to a rounded and smooth appearance by the effects of water running through rivers or creeks.
Concrete Stone
Stone duplicated by casting concrete in molds
Exterior Stone
Stone that is used on the outside of a building.
